Whether you’re trying to acquire success in your profession, business, career, life, or spirituality, “Self Help Made Simple” has been designed to show you what you’re capable of and that’s just about anything. Forgiving is the first stage to success…
>> Forget what hasn’t happened for you.
>> Forget about your failures.
>> Forget those who harmed you.
>> Forget your fears.
>> Forget the negativity.
Today is the day you decide to change for the better and the word decide couldn’t be a better word for the journey you are about to embark on. The word decide comes from the Latin word ‘caedere’ which means ‘to cut’. Today you ‘cut’ out all the things that didn’t work and start focusing on what does work (thanks to Anthony Robbins for this realization).
This is what we’re about and what we believe in and we know we CAN guide you to having a fulfilled life. Let’s get started, shall we.
Welcome to “Self Help Made Simple”!
Jason Ratliff and Jerome Ratliff, co-creators and brothers of “Self Help Made Simple” have been through just about anything you can imagine. With their array of experience and knowledge, along with their openness to learning more, they are here to serve you and to make a difference.
Here’s a little bit more about them…
About Jason Ratliff
That purpose is to help guide people in their path of life. Whether that be advising on finding their unique calling, how to make the best out of their self, or living life with a higher purpose.
I felt that it was my duty to pass on the knowledge that I learned and share it with many others so they could use it to their benefit and of mankind’s.
Upon my journey I was a nomad, not sure where to go or where to start my journey. I sought out help through self-help books and audio courses. One of the first books I encountered was an audio course by Tony Robbins.
It taught me that the power was within me to become successful. In order to succeed I had to start taking action.
Being a nomad just wandering around led me nowhere, but when I started taking small actions towards my goals I got closer and closer to reaching, the what seemed to be unattainable goals.
It was then that I realized that my thoughts were controlling which direction I turned. Most of the time, it was my fear of the unknown that lead me. Whatever I thought was within my reach, I obtained.
Whatever I thought was out of my reach, I failed. So I started changing my thought process. Why not make any goal obtainable? This was not an easy task at first as I had to break old thought habits. But just by being aware of these thought patterns, it became much easier to flip the switch at any given moment.
With the help from great teachers/authors like Tony Robbins, Napoleon Hill, Joseph Murphy, Rhonda Byrne, and Wayne Dyer, I am becoming closer to mastering the art of my mind. I am learning how to go with the flow, live by attraction, take actions, and conquering negative thoughts.
“I think, therefore I am.” – René Descartes
The preceding statement sums it all up of how we have become the person that we are today.
I look forward to connecting with you!
About Jerome Ratliff
There was one problem.
I was perpetually negative. I failed to see that anything was possible and I believed the world was against me.
Have you heard the saying, “Seeing is believing?” Well, I was someone that firmly believed if anything was ever going to come my way, then I better see it before I experience it.
Oh boy – what was wrong with me?
Then one day, I figured it out. I was at the root of all of my troubles. This was really hard to accept. All of my troubles was my fault. I wasn’t sure what to do. So, I decided enough was enough and these issues I was dealing with had to change. I could see that this negative thinking clearly was not helping me and I knew there had to be a better way.
This is what I decided… I would focus on improving myself. I would start with one area in my life that I wanted to approve. I committed time each and every day until I reached my goal.
I figured by applying what I can learn, over time I would be making a significant change. And with that change I knew I would be where I wanted to be. That mission turned out to be me finding my purpose.
Through many self-development books, courses and events from the top professionals in the business and self improvement world, I was able to go through a slow transformational change. Although, some people were seeing it as an overnight change. Far from it.
I understood why they thought this though. Because they hadn’t experienced what I experienced, all they could see was the difference between where I was and where I was now.
Now, I must be completely honest with you. It took many early mornings and countless sleepless nights in battling with my inner-demons which was trying to hold on to the past. Talk about hard.
I persevered anyhow. I was determined to make the change I had set out to make. It wasn’t only a matter of changing myself, but also helping others by sharing what I was applying in my life. Thankfully, the light at the end of the tunnel began to shine through.
It was a phenomenal experience and very emotional. All of the pieces were coming into place and then one day it hit me. I learned that all of the negative thinking and crummy results I had gotten in the past, was a means by which it was preparing me for what was next.
It’s been many years since that day and today my commitment is stronger then ever. With that, I am continuing on to help contribute my share of making a significant change on other people’s lives by being their light of inspiration and what could be.
Everything I know and practiced is being shared with you here in this blog. There is one thing I do know about you that will give you the edge to seeing what could be and that is…
“You are great because you were created this way.” Harness that! Don’t be afraid to be yourself. All you have to do is to reach down into your heart and open it up to your true greatness.
I look forward to meeting you, serving you, and seeing you succeed.
