Thoughts On Thought

think positiveYour thoughts do not define you, they have a mind of it’s own… literally! HAHAHA Seriously though, if we don’t watch where they’re taking us, they may lead us to where we don’t care to go.

“Sometimes all you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.” Unknown

Periodically a person will have positive and negative thoughts. Your experience comes from what dominates your mind the most. What dominates your mind may not always be your conscious choice but your subconscious that has been programmed through years of established beliefs, that you’ve created, on your own.

There are moments that make us become bitter, loved, hurt, happy, traumatized, and at peace. When we take the driver’s seat of how we’re thinking, we steer in the direction of our choice. Is it going to be easy to shift these thoughts to more positive? It’s your choice really. Do you care to stay in idle and allow the pattern of negative thought to rule your mind and consequently ruining your life experience? Sometimes it takes that extra conscious effort to snap out of that pattern, but It’s well worth it, if you care to turn your life around.

Try clearing your mind through breathing exercises, meditation, walks in nature, laughing, or surrounding yourself around positive and loving influences.

State of Mind = State of Peace

There are 2 parts to finding your peace:
1. Consciously monitoring your thoughts
2. Subconsciously placing yourself in a positive environment

Peace Be With You,

The Power of Positive Thinking

The International Best-Seller, “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale immediately comes to mind when we’ve realized our negative thinking has become a disease of our mind.

You’ve probably heard many times that our thoughts are so powerful that they can bring about the life we constantly focus about. We think about trouble, pain, suffering and we get more trouble, pain, and suffering. But the reverse is also true. If we think and FEEL abundance, happiness, and prosperity, then that’s exactly what we will get.

Sow a habit, and you reap a character;

Sow a character, and you reap a destiny”

Not A Single Thing To Fear

The ego is the body’s built-in mechanism that provides us with survival tools for a body that may encounter danger. It acts upon instinct when confronted with a situation that may invoke fear. The body’s instinct is to either fight or flee.

With the rationale of the soul coming into play, there no longer has to be a fear conditioned response. When enlightened to a point of realized oneness; body, mind, and soul come together knowing that the circumstances have been laid about by its own doing.

Think Of The Possibilities

On a couple of occasions yesterday I developed a short fuse. The smallest irritation would blow me off the handle. What was bothering me? It wasn’t really the circumstances I found myself in, it was my self doubt. I was beginning to feel helpless. I was growing anxious and feared that I might run out of time to do what I truly desired.

The circumstances I was facing served as the catalyst to place my emotions off balance. There is a change that is desired to happen in my life right now but I don’t know if I can handle it. I’ve never done this before. What if I fail? What if I look like a fool? What if I fall down? What if I can never get up again?

Well after pondering all the worst that could happen, I put my focus on the greater possibilities. Continue reading Think Of The Possibilities

Create A Vision

1. Recognize What You’re Envisioning

Catch yourself when you start imagining a scenario that is any less than perfect. Visualize only a positive outcome. Why is this important? Because you might be creating something that you didn’t really want. It might be natural to ponder the possibilities of failure, but don’t dwell in the state of fear for long.

2. React Positively

You might not be able to control every circumstance that comes into your experience, but you can control how you react to each one. See yourself at peace with the environment. Give your loving acceptance to whatever the present moment presents to you.
